In the comparative we add "más" (more):
frío - cold
más frío - colder
The superlative is formed by adding the article to the form of comparative : el / la / los / las:
il más frío - the coldest
la más fría - the coldest
los más fríos - the coldest
las más frías - the coldest
There is also a special form ending in -ísimo (feminine -ísima):
honrado - honest
honradísimo - very honest.
Some adjectives have also irregular forms:
